Introducing Operators’ Walkthrough Lab

Mar 21, 2022

Just in time for World Water Day 2022, RESEAU Centre for Mobilization is pleased to announce the launch of the Operators’ Walkthrough Lab (OWL),  a next-gen learning platform designed to convey a real-world understanding of drinking water systems in rural communities.

Working with government and industry partners, we’ve built Canada’s first virtual training app that covers everything from system design to operation and maintenance, as well as the importance of clean water to community health and quality of life. OWL is designed for communities and youth, water operators and those interested in water operations, professional associations, educational institutions and students, and regulatory agencies who require a fundamental understanding of drinking water disinfection and how water-health affects community health.

Best of all, OWL is free! It works on Windows and Mac, as well as Android and iOS. Learn more and download the program on the OWL page.
